Position Status:  Part-time - Shift

Monday to Friday 6:45 am - 9:00 am
Monday to Friday 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
September to June

Salary / Rate:  To be discussed

Job Description:
Under the leadership and direction of the Caisse Community Centre Facility Manager, Before and After School Program Staff are responsible for providing supervision to children before and after each school day.

Job Responsibilities:

- Practice and maintain the health & safety policies of the Caisse Community Centre
- Maintain Daily sign in/out records
- Ensure Child/Parent Information records are up-to-date
- Safe transportation of children from La Salle School to the Caisse Community Centre at 3pm, Monday to Friday
- Act as a group leader, trouble shooter and assist in problem solving
- Facilitate & engage in crafts, games, sports, etc.
- Deliver recreational and social activities promoting friendship, sharing, and fair play
- Monitor the use of equipment & facilities
- Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

- First Aid
- CPR
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children essential
- Experience with Youth Recreation Programs and/or Special Needs Children would be an asset
