The Macdonald Healthy Child committee is a network of volunteers dedicated to supporting community based programs and activities for children, youth and their families. Areas of focus include:
- Parenting
- Nutrition & Physical Health
- Literacy
- Community Capacity Building
Macdonald Healthy Child programs are offered free of charge due to funding support from the Healthy Child Coalition Central Region and are a great way to have fun with your child. Program planning is ongoing, please let us know if there is a program you would like in your community. Some of the programs offered are "Shake, Rattle & Roll, Family Fun Time, Toddler Shenanigans and Mindful Munchkins." Donations to the program are gratefully accepted.
Make sure to check out the Healthy Child programs in the Macdonald-Headingley Program & Community Resource Guide.
If you'd like more information on Macdonald Healthy Child, are interested in volunteering or becoming a program facilitator, please contact any committee member.
