In-Service Day Camp Program
for Ages 5 to 12
(September to May)
 
Providing In-Service Day Camp for children between the ages of 5 to 12 through the Caisse Community Centre.  Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required. 

Precedence given to children registered in the Before and After School Program.  If space allows, In-Service Day Camp will be open to children not regularly attending the Before and After School Program.

  • Runs from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Lunch and snacks are not provided (lunch and snacks brought from home must be nut-free)
  • Cost of the program:
    - $30.00 per day / per child

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the structure of the Caisse Community Centre In-Service Day Camp Program will be modified to meet guidelines and regulations in place for Daycare Programs by the Province of Manitoba.

Please know that any changes made will be done to help promote the safety and security for the children attending the program as well as staff.

For the 2021/22 School Year:

No Visitor/Volunteer Access:
• There will be no visitors or volunteers at the program at this time 
• Parents or guardians are able to enter the facility but must practice social distancing and hygiene practices – including hand washing – when on the premises

Please be aware of the following information regarding the Caisse Community Centre In-Service Day Camp Program:

In-Service Day Camp Program Drop-Off:
• Parents are asked to self-screen their children prior to bringing them to the In-Service Day Camp program using the COVID-19 Screening Tool:

• If a child exhibits any symptoms consistent with cold or flu, the child should remain at home
• Staff must also use the self-screening tool before coming into work
• Staff will complete screening each day at drop off using the Novel Coronavirus Screening Tool for Public Health and Health Links:

• No children with symptoms will be allowed to attend
• Any child, parent, staff or visitor must not enter the child care space if they are sick, even if symptoms resemble a mild cold
• There will be staggered entry at drop-off to help avoid unnecessary contact

During the In-Service Day Camp Program:
• Social Distancing:
o Staff will practice social distancing to the extent possible, while still caring for the children
o Children with no symptoms will continue to be treated as they typically would under our care
o The areas the program is held will be set-up to encourage social distancing
• Handwashing:
o Children and Staff will engage in frequent handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when arriving at the In-Service Day Camp Program as well as before and after all activities during the program
• Cleaning and Disinfecting:
o Staff will perform frequent thorough cleaning, using routine practices that follow regulations for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting
o Frequently touched objects and surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected numerous times throughout the program

• Lunch and Snacks:
o Parents must provide nut-free lunch and snack(s) for their child
o A "No Sharing" Policy will be in place
• Zero-Tolerance Policy:
o If a child registered in the In-Service Day Camp Program is unable to follow the COVID-19 rules and guidelines provided by the Province of Manitoba, parent will be contacted and the child will be removed from the program.

Pick-Up:
• There will be staggered entry at pick-up to help avoid unnecessary contact

In-Service Day Camp will be available for the 2021/2022 School Year on the following dates:(DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

(require a minimum of 10 registrants to run an in-service day camp)

We use an online system to manage the way we look after your bookings called aimyPLUS. This online software has many benefits including your very own Parent Portal where you can:

  • Register and Enroll your child/children
  • Make payments
  • Update your personal information
  • View your bookings
  • View your invoices

This process should only take you about 10 minutes and the good news is you will never have to fill our another registration form/paper schedule with us ever again!

Some tips to help you through the process:

  • When filling out the parent portal information for your child/children, please input your Manitoba Health Number including 6 digit and 9 digit numbers divided by a dash in the space marked
    ID Number.
  • Payments are required for the software to update our attendance lists. We require a minimum of 10 registrants to run an in-service day camp.  This means that invoices must be paid prior to the in-service day camp date (2 weeks or a month) in order for us to confirm attendance.  Invoices will be generated as soon as your booking is confirmed and sent to your aimyPLUS Parent Portal. 


Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to the following link address: https://caissecc.aimyplus.com
  2. Click the purple 'register now' button.
  3. Follow the registration process and enroll your children.
  4. After this has been done, click the dashboard in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen, now you can make a booking.
  5. Click on the 'make a booking' button and complete the booking into the desired program.
  6. Once completed, your booking is now pending and will be confirmed within 24 hours.
  7. If a booking is made within 48 hours of required care, the booking will be approved, however, there will be a $5.00 short notice booking fee.
REMINDER:  Invoices are generated to your aimyPLUS Parent Portal NOT your email address and must be paid on time to ensure your child/children are registered.  Late fees will apply.

In-Service Day Camp Program Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be issued to cancellations provided in writing within 7 days notice of your confirmed booking.  Written requests must be emailed to: 
beforeandafter@caissecc.com   **No refunds will be issued AFTER 7 days.

We do not respond to texts, phone calls, emails or in person comments to our staff about schedule changes. We use a tablet (iPad) for all sign in/sign out, attendance lists and email correspondence. This means all information will be available to us to check as it will be stored on the tablet.
