Let me take you back to that Summer!  The Summer of 69!

I got my first real six string, I bought it at the five and dime… or maybe it was actually Woolco? 

Either way… it was in the Summer of 69’ and my life would never be the same. Yep… Me and some guys from school, we had a band and we tried real hard. But then Jimmy quit, Jody got married… man that Jimmy was such a quitter. 

Let me take you back to that summer, and tell you the story of peace, love, long hair and music that would change the world.
